Picture Day & Retake Day
How soon will I receive my child's school pictures after Picture Day?
Your child's pictures will arrive approximately 3 weeks after your Picture Day.
What do we need to do to get a retake?
Return the Portrait Book to school with your child on Retake Day and the picture will be retaken at no additional charge. Please write a note in the comment box in the back of the Portrait Book so we can retake the picture more to your liking. If a class picture is included in your booklet, please keep it. The class picture will not be retaken or reprinted.
Ordering
Why do you use webcodes? Why can't I search for my student or school?
Webcodes are used to protect your student's privacy. Our codes insure only those who should have access are able to locate your student's photos. As always, if you need help locating your code, please contact us and we can assist you.
How do we pay for the pictures?
Most of our school picture programs are on a pre-pay plan. You can pay for your pictures with cash, check, or money order on picture day. Please make checks payable to Geskus Photography Inc. You may also pay with a credit card online. If your school is on a proof plan, all orders should be done online via credit/debit card.
Can we make any changes on our original order?
You can contact us within 24 hours to make adjustments to your order.
My child had pictures taken but I forgot to send money on picture day. What can I do?
You can still place an order online until 8am the morning after picture day using either the School Code or your student Personal Webcode. Please contact us if you need help locating your code. If it is after this time, please wait until your student brings home their Cover Booklet Proof. There will be instructions on how to view and place your order. You can also submit your order on retake day or mail it to our office.
How does the Digital Download option work?
When pictures are ready, you will receive an email with instructions on how to access your photos. Please note the Digital Download has replaced the Photo CD option - you will not receive a physical CD. Please allow approximately two weeks for your Digital Download to be processed and sent to you.
We offer two Digital Download options. Both options include a printable copyright release as an image in the file.
Deluxe Digital Download
The Deluxe Digital Download contains a high resolution image of your child on every background we offer for that season.
Standard Digital Download
The Standard Digital Download can be added to packages 1-5 for only $10. You will receive a high resolution image of your child with the background and pose you ordered for your package.
Why do you ask our relationship to the student we are ordering for?
This information will make distribution for a student with multiple orders easier.
What is Retouching and Premium Retouching?
Retouching - Retouching adds a special glow to the portraits with a gentle softening of the facial features. (Does not remove blemishes)
Premium Retouching - Premium Retouching removes and softens most facial blemishes on the portraits.
Can I order pictures from a previous school year?
Absolutely, you can currently order pictures back to the 2014-2015 school year. Please contact us directly and we can help you to place these orders.
How can I order additional portraits?
Additional portraits are available online. You can also call our office to place an order. You will need to know the students Personal Webcode and PIN# which can be found in the back of your student's Portrait Book.
What is a Personal Webcode and where can I find it?
Your students Personal Webcode can be found inside the back of your student's Portrait Book. You will need this code if you are ordering after picture day. If you are ordering before picture day, you will need your School Webcode which can be found in the yellow box on your order form.

Order Errors
What do I do if there are pictures missing from my order?
We apologize if you did not receive the pictures you ordered. Please contact our office and we will resolve the issue as soon as possible. Please note, if a class picture was ordered, you will receive it at a later date. If you ordered a yearbook, they will arrive in early spring.
What if I received the wrong background?
Please contact us and include the child's name, address, phone number, school, Student PIN#, and correct background choice. We will reprint the pictures and mail them directly to your home.
I ordered a class picture and/or the yearbook, and it wasn't included in my picture package?
Generally, class portraits and yearbooks are delivered separately. Class pictures are usually shipped to the school after Picture Retake Day to provide the opportunity for every student to be included. Delivery of yearbooks is usually in early spring.
Why are the package prices at my child's elementary school different then my child that is at the high or middle school?
For elementary schools, the contents in packages 1-5 usually includes a yearbook and/or a class picture while most high and middle schools do not include this.
What should I do if I would like to return my pictures for a refund?
As part of our No Hassles guarantee, if you are unsatisfied with your picture order and do not desire a retake, you may return your child's pictures to our office for a refund. Please enclose a note letting us know you wish to have a refund along with an address to mail the refund to. Refunds require returning the entire Portrait Book to Geskus' Photography Inc. at 0-11310 1st Ave. NW Grand Rapids, MI 49534. A refund will be mailed to you within 14 days of receiving your pictures. If a yearbook was part of your picture order, then the cost of the yearbook will be deducted from the refund amount. Please do not return the pictures to school if you would like a refund.
Yearbooks
Why didn't my yearbook come with my pictures?
A lot of time goes into capturing valuable memories of important events and candid shots to be included in the yearbook. Yearbooks typically arrive separately in early spring.
How do I find out if I ordered a yearbook?
Contact our office and we can see if a yearbook was purchased.
I didn't order a yearbook when they were on sale. Can I still order one?
Absolutely, simply go to www.geskusphoto.com/yearbookorders and follow the prompted instructions.
When ordering a yearbook, sometimes it will ask for the Pin Number. Where is that?
While your Pin Number is not required, it automatically links your order to our internal database. Therefore the accuracy within fulfillment, tracking and distributing your order is much more precise. Your students Pin Number can be located in the inside back cover of Portrait Book.
